American born, Adrianna moved to London seven years ago where she
finished her schooling at TASIS: England before doing a Foundation Degree
at CSM. This was followed by a year in the Fashion Design and Print
pathway before moving the Performance Design and Practice where she
found her home in the realm of costume design.
Her work explores the relationship between identity and costume, and
its impact on visual narration – incorporating classic tailoring with
innovative presentation techniques. Her work is focused in film, but
extends into the worlds of dance and stage, and often in mixtures of multimedia. Her collaborations include Lesbian Vampire Killers (2009),
and No Thy Self (Cochrane Theatre, 2011). |
